The DripArt collection was born from a project inspired by metal, alchemical atmospheres, and the process of transformation that time fixes in matter.
All stages of the metal transformations on chemically oxidised sheets in the laboratory were observed and photographed. A careful selection of the most interesting and magical moments of the process on the material in order to extrapolate the most representative colours and graphics.
Six metals have inspired the colours of Dripart: from the more delicate colours of Titanium, Calamine, Bronze and Iron, to the brighter shades of Verdigris and Copper. The decors enrich the collection by revisiting iconic trends in an eccentric key: Drip Rose Light and Dark are inspired by wallpapers, the Maxi Class mosaic and the Drip Lines wall tile accommodate a small composition wall format.
A unique feature of this collection is the dripart, whose visual and tactile effect is dynamic and fluid. Its combination with the oxidation of metal makes Dripart a ‘living’ collection, giving environments a changing perception.
The delicate effect combining gloss and satin created by the paint enhances the perception of dynamism and movement of the graphics. The directional design creates an effect of continuity between the vertical and horizontal planes, almost merging them into one another.
